At Vantage Point Vintage, we understand that finding the right instrument is a personal journey. Because vintage instruments are unique, fragile, and often one-of-a-kind, we have established the following policy to ensure a fair and transparent experience for all collectors.

1. Approval Period

We offer a 48-hour approval period for all guitars and amplifiers shipped within the domestic United States. This period begins the moment the item is marked as "Delivered" by the carrier.

• Notification: If you intend to return an item, you must notify us via email at info@vantagepointvintage.com within this 48-hour window.

• In-Person Sales: All sales made in person or at trade shows are considered final and are not eligible for return.

2. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a refund, the item must be returned in the exact condition in which it was received.

• The instrument must not have been disassembled, modified, or tampered with (this includes removing pickguards to inspect electronics unless previously agreed upon).

• All original accessories, cases, hangtags, and certificates of authenticity must be included.

3. Refunds & Restocking Fees

• Full Refunds: If an item is significantly misrepresented in our description, we will provide a full refund, including original shipping costs.

• Change of Mind: For returns based on personal preference (e.g., neck feel, tone, weight), a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund to cover administrative costs and the time the instrument was off the market.

• Non-Refundable Costs: Original shipping fees and credit card/PayPal processing fees (typically 3-4%) are non-refundable unless the item was misrepresented.

4. Return Shipping

• The buyer is responsible for all return shipping, insurance, and handling costs.

• Requirement: Returns must be shipped via a tracked, signature-required service (FedEx or UPS preferred) and insured for the full purchase price.

• Vantage Point Vintage is not responsible for items damaged during return transit.

5. International Sales

Due to the complexities of CITES regulations, customs duties, and international shipping risks, Vantage Point Vintage Guitars will not ship internatinoally
