1973 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe
An exceptional, "collector-grade" example of the Norlin-era classic. This 1973 Les Paul Deluxe features the iconic Goldtop finish and the punchy, articulate tone that only original mini-humbuckers can provide. With a solid mahogany back and a 3-piece maple top, this instrument captures the quintessential sustain and "snap" prized by vintage enthusiasts.
The Details
Condition: Very clean (8/10). Displays light, honest play wear including minor buckle marks and scratches on the back, and minimal finish divots. A small finish split is present on the upper bout, adding to its authentic vintage character.
Electronics: 100% original mini-humbuckers. These pickups are famous for their clarity—offering more "bite" than a full humbucker while remaining quieter than a P90.
Neck & Playability: Features a comfortable 3-piece mahogany neck with a "C" profile and supportive shoulders. The rosewood fretboard retains its original medium frets with plenty of life remaining. No cracks or headstock breaks.
Hardware: Period-correct hardware including an ABR-1 bridge and vintage-style double-ring Kluson "Gibson Deluxe" tuners.
